2020 Nissan Rogue In Depth Review

Spread the love

Right from the onset of its second generation in 2017, the Nissan Rogue has witnessed massive and continuous upgrades in its entire feature, with the state of the art tech, great powertrain, and sleek body. The 2019 model was great and still witnessing impressive sales; the 2020 model is no different.

The Rogue unarguably, is one of the best-selling compact crossovers in the auto market, even outselling most close brands like the Sentra and even the Altima. The 2020 model has ample space that offers great comfort for both driver and passengers alike, with a solid mix of handsome styling that leaves nothing less than more endearing. Also, a vast range of standard assistance tech features and infotainment are afforded by this unique model. Albeit, the 2020 Rogue, comes with a four-cylinder engine that is a real hustle in riding the crossover.

Powertrain And Performance

The three available trims of the 2020 model have the same engine. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine, with 170 horsepower, 175 pound-feet of torque, and continuous variable automatic transmission (CVT) as the standard setup. To further suit your taste, the Sport and Eco modes are standard.

The AWD Rogues are rated at 25 mpg city and 32 mpg highway, whereas the FWD versions give 33 mpg on the highway and 26 miles per gallon in the city. This is a clear indication of how sufficiently efficient the 2020 Rogue can be. However, the 2020 model, quite unlike the proceeding model, has no hybrid variant.

Safety Features

The 2020 Rogue comes with a great improvement in safety add ons, far better than the 2019 model. It is fully fitted with numerous standard driver-assistance technologies, such as automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, automatic rear braking, lane-departure warning, and automatic high beams. Also, there’s a ProPilot Assist, which is quite handy for keeping the vehicle in the center of its lane on the highway and stop-and-go adaptive cruise control to help the driver.

Interior And Cargo Space

The 2020 Nissan Rogue’s interior is nothing short of comfort, with an attractive and magnet ambiance to cap it. It has a seating capacity of up to five and a solid amount of cargo capacity. The interior speaks of luxury, with caramel-colored leather seats (however, it’s only available on the top-tier SL). The S and SV trim comes with cloth seats, while the SL upgrades to leather-appointed surfaces.

The passenger front space is A grade. Unfortunately, long-legged passengers may find the rear seats a bit less cushy. Behind the second row, a 39.3 cubic feet of space is available and folding the seats creates an additional 70 cubic feet space.

Pricing

The starting price for the 2020 Rogue’s model is $25,200. Adding $1,045 for destination and delivery will leave you at $26,245. The SV trim goes for $26,620, while the top-of-the-line SL trim is up for $31,590.

The Nissan Rogue is one of the best-selling SUVs in the US, with unceasing competition from similar options, fighting to get a lead in the SUVs market. You can get a Nissan Rogue lease at a great savings rate. You can also get an amazing Nissan lease New Jersey deals.
