There are no obvious aesthetic or mechanical changes to the 2022 Mazda 3. It is one of the vehicles that offers luxury and an absolute sporty feel when driving. It is more affordable than its direct competitors like Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, and Toyota Corolla.

Depending on the trim model, the 2022 Mazda 3 is available as a sedan or hatchback with standard front-wheel drive or an available all-wheel drivetrain (AWD). There is also a newer model – the Carbon Edition variant that’s slightly in-between the Preferred and Premium trims. The MSRP starting price is as at $27,415 for sedan and $28,415 for hatchback.

Unlike the base model Mazda 3, the Carbon Edition has a 2.5-liter four-banger engine that pumps over 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft. of torque, turning the front wheels courtesy of a six-speed automatic. However, there’s no all-wheel drivetrain on the Carbon Edition Mazda 3.
