BMW is no alien to electrified vehicles (look at the trendy little i3), and the 2022 i4 sedan adds to the label’s EV lineup. The i4 is a low-slung four-door in the manner of the similarly sized 4-series Gran Coupe and is derived from BMW’s most recognized design, the 3-series. It goes up against the Polestar 2 and the Tesla Model 3.

When it eventually hits markets in early to mid-2022, the BMW i4 will be a brand-new electric car that will compete against the Tesla Model 3 and other mid-size EV sedans.
