BMW X-Series Lineup: X3 Vs X5 Vs X7: Which Is For You?

Spread the love

It’s no secret that BMW revolutionized the crossover with its very first sports vehicle when it was released years ago, creating a crossover that was truly designed for your lifestyle loaded with an air of elegance in addition to its symbolic capacities. Early models of the BMW X Series have shaken the expectation that a dull, dingy “utility” was the only thing that could define an SUV. So they made their definition, and now, with three unique and amazing models in the full range of the X series – the BMW X3, X5, and X7 – these new after-sales collection takes things to a whole new level. What are the differences between the BMW X Series models?

It is best to ask this question when you can browse the full range of the series, whether online in the inventory or person in the showroom because these differences are more than size, power, cargo space and exterior design.

Each of these models has its personality, unique strengths and ability to adapt to a wide variety of lifestyles.

Here is a brief overview of the BMW X Series to help you get started in your search:

BMW X5

The BMW X5 was completely redesigned last year – but instead of standing still, BMW  has extended the range of this vehicle with a brand new model: the 2020 BMW X5 M50i. Our customers can now have three dynamic versions of BMW X5 to consider for their next mid-size luxury SUV.

To complete the new BMW X5 M50i 2020 range, the entry-level 2020 BMW X5 xDrive40i and the mid-range BMW X5 xDrive50i 2020 complete the package. Each 2020 BMW X5 available for lease, comes with its engine: the basic version equips a 3.0 L turbocharged 6C (335 hp, 330 lb-ft of torque), the mid-level model gets a 4.4 L turbocharged V8 (456 hp, 459 lb-ft of torque), and the high-end BMW X5 M50i 2020 benefits from an improved version of the V8 (523 hp, 553 lb-ft of torque). All three versions are fitted as standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive (AWD).

Model details

  • Engine: three choices
  • Power: 335 hp – 523 hp / 330 lb-ft of torque – 553 lb-ft of torque

For the base version, this means a panoramic sunroof and adaptive shock absorbers – and for the mid-range model, leather upholstery, and four-zone air conditioning. Meanwhile, the high-end finish includes large M Sport brakes, specially tuned suspension and 20-inch light wheels.

BMW X7

Last year, the first three-row SUV from the BMW brand debuted. Luxury was always going to be a given for the 2020 BMW X7, but building a three-row SUV that doesn’t behave like a land yacht is no small task. The BMW team was up to the challenge, and at the dawn of a new year, it still has not lost its ability to surprise.

We are perhaps only in the second year of this vehicle, but already there is a big change to announce. This year, an M Performance model was introduced. The BMW X7 vehicle lease delivers a punch of 523 horsepower alongside the usual M Performance trims.

The other models (xDrive 40i and xDrive 50i) come back from last year and perform admirably, although they are electronically limited to a top speed of 130 miles per hour. The XDrive AWD is standard, as well as a choice of two punchy powertrains. Even the smaller of the two will get you 60 miles per hour in less than six seconds.

Model details

  • 6 to 7 seats
  • 335-456 H.P
  • XDrive AWD standard
  • Maximum load volume of 3 cubic feet

This new BMW SUV has impressive safety technology, including a function that links the transmission to navigation to help you better respond to traffic and road conditions. Traffic Jam Assist, lane-keeping assist with automatic lane change, collision warning (front and rear) and a unique driver alertness monitor that allows autonomous driving at low speed are among the features offered.

If you want even more features, you can find out about the many standards and available comfort features. The two high-resolution screens – one for the instrumentation and the other for the iDrive infotainment system – are sure to impress. You can also switch to captain’s seats in the second row, add heated front seats (with leather, if you’re so inclined), subscribe to Apple CarPlay®, and much more.

In conclusion, there isn’t any doubt that BMW has upped its game with the x-series, which provides a variety of options to choose from. This is to give customers who might have a conflict of interest in confidence to make a perfect vehicle choice. We at Vipauto in New Jersey are always available as well to guide you through this process, so you can lease the BMW which will be perfect for you.
